What a joy it is for me to serve as the pastor of Faith Community Baptist Church. By God's great grace, along with several other precious brothers and sisters in Christ, we started FCBC, December of 1998.
I did my graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary receiving in 1997 a Master of Divinity degree in which I focused on Biblical languages, primarily New Testament Greek. In December of 2018 I graduated from Southwestern again with a PhD in Historical Theology/Church History with a focus in Baptist studies, and did my dissertation on English Particular Baptist pastor Benjamin Beddome. I also am a Teaching Fellow at Southwestern and serve as Adjunct Professor of Church History at IRBS Theological Seminary in Mansfield, TX.
I have been blessed for over 28 years being married to my wife, Janice. We have seven wonderful and very busy children: Timothy (married to Cady and living in Austin, TX attending UT), Katie (currently enrolled in the master's program at Southwestern and teaching at Southwestern in the Scarborough College), Nathan (a sophomore at a local community college), Benjamin, Abigail, Averie, and Bethany.
